ken Du Bois, co-owner of a 25 foot coronado sailboat, walking away from it after is ran a ground about 1 mile south of moss landing tuesday afternoon after the sail ripped out (according to a park ranger) due to high winds. one person was aboard at the time time of the mishap. the persons name is robert adair from aptos. the boat was to be salvaged by captain gary roller who runs vessel towing & salvage out of moss landing. he said they would tow the boat in on the beach. they sould be able to save the boat. Du bois was not on the boat at the time of the accident but came to help with the salvage operation. photo needs to be run large, please!
